Enjoyed this mystery with Wanda Nell and Jack. Sad that this appears to be the last book in the series (even though there is no real ending to the series here).

The mystery was a cold case and for once did not involve anyone in Wanda Nell's family. lol

Enjoyed this cozy series.

My 14 year old daughter picked this up at the local library, read it, and raved about how wonderful it was, so I decided to read it before she returned it.

I have to say that I was impressed. I enjoyed the dystopian aspect, with the possible extinction of bees (something we could actually face in our future) as well as the problems arising from new vaccines (again something that we are seeing already) leading up to an end to the world that we know. I will say that this part of the story was lacking. I would have loved it if the author would have delved a bit deeper into the actual events that led to the world that we are seeing, but it is a forgivable problem.

Keeping in mind that this book is intended for a young adult/teen audience some of the simplicity of the plot is understandable. There are issues, but no so that they ruin the story.

I will definitely read the next book when it comes out, just to see what happens next.

I am really enjoying this series. This book was the best so far because it really took us into the lives of the wonderful cast of characters that the author has brought together. I am really sad to see that the next book is the last in this series. I have really enjoyed getting to know Wanda Nell and her family. The mystery was okay in this one, but the development of the characters was what made it so special for me.

This series keeps getting better with each book. I love Wanda Nell and her family and friends. The town she lives in reminds me of the town that I live in and the story lines are always interesting.
This book touched upon some darker issues, but was well written and came together nicely in the end. I look forward to reading more about Wanda Nell and her adventures.

I am enjoying this series. I like Wanda Nell and the mysteries are interesting. I did not figure out who did it until the killer was revealed. I like getting to know Wanda Nell and her family and find the books quite readable.

I am more than willing to read a Christmas story that detours from the path of "normal" if it is well written. I was intrigued by the idea of vampire snowmen and was willing to read this story with my sense of humor well prepared to be assaulted. Assaulted it was and then some. Vampire elves I can deal with. Vampire snowmen okay. Dark elves no problem, but when I started reading about zombie elves and Santa Flaws it was just too much. The story was not well written, it is definitely not something that I would want any child of mine to read, and it was not even something that I would recommend to adults. The most imaginative part of the story was the fact that there were vampires and zombies, which could have been fun if it was not so stupid! The author did not use his imagination to write this story beyond the creation of the characters. Don't waste your time, even if you picked this up free like I did.

This was a good start to a cozy series. The author went a little heavy on the trailer park hick of some of the characters, but overall it was an interesting read. I like the characters and look forward to reading more about them, which is always a good thing in a cozy series.

This book started a little slow for me but evolved into a fantastic Christmas romance. I loved the story and all of the twists. Definitely a wonderful Christmas read!!
