Murder on the Eightfold Path (Mantra for Murder Mystery #3) by Diana Killian

Murder on the Eightfold Path (Mantra for Murder, #3)Murder on the Eightfold Path by Diana Killian

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The only yoga mystery series on the market.

While in her mother's garden, A.J. stumbles-literally-on the body of her mother's current beau. Now A.J. is going to have to find her balance and solve the murder without getting tied up in knots.

~~

Another enjoyable book in this series. The mystery was very involved in this book. I am not really liking that AJ and Jake are so off and on. I do however like that we got to know the characters better and I can say that I loved the ending. Looking forward to reading the next in the series as well.

Dial Om for Murder (Mantra for Murder Mystery #2) by Diana Killian

Dial Om for Murder (Mantra for Murder, #2)Dial Om for Murder by Diana Killian

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When one of A.J.'s celebrity yoga students gets permanently bent out of shape, and another is accused of the crime, A.J. has no choice but to position herself as a sleuth to find the real killer.

I enjoyed getting to know the various characters better. The mystery itself was okay and I was unsure of who done it until the end. I enjoy it when cozy series have characters that evolve with each book. I feel like this series is doing that and I like the characters. Looking forward to reading the next in the series as well.

Corpse Pose (Mantra for Murder Mystery #1) by Diana Killian

Corpse Pose (Mantra for Murder Mystery #1)Corpse Pose by Diana Killian

Readers will bend over backward for the debut of the first yoga mystery series.

Ever since her husband ditched her-for another man-A.J. hasn't exactly been on the road to inner peace. Then her yoga-guru aunt is found dead, and A.J.'s named the sole heir to her lucrative yoga studio-making her a multimillionaire, a prime suspect, and the killer's next target.

At the beginning of this book I did not like the main character. She came off as a whiny adolescent and I was mildly shocked when I read that she was supposed to be 35. That aside, she grew on me and I actually ended up enjoying the book quite a bit. The mystery remained a mystery until the end and the characters were interesting enough to make me want to read more. I will definitely be looking for more books in this series.
