This was such a fun read. I really enjoyed reading about poor Jig's adventure. I also want to mention how much I love the cover illustrations on this series of books. Kudos to the artist who gave us a perfect visual of Jig to relate to as we read about his adventures. Moving on to his next reluctant adventure............

I really enjoy Martinez's writing. Considering that this was his first novel I have to say well done. What a fun read. I fully intend to find more of his books to read soon.

Wonderful, dark. comic fantasy. This is the first book I have read by A. Lee Martinez, but I fully intend to read more. I really enjoyed the characters, their interactions and the storyline. I read this book in a day and that is always the sign of a good book. One that you avoid all responsibility to finish. lol

The front cover says 'A tale of vengenace, true love, and cannibalism' and that just about says it all for this book. Great read!!
